Biking

When I first got diagnosed with POTS, my doctor told me to take up recumbent biking or swimming. It took me awhile to actually do much with it. When I first started biking I couldn't even pedal fast or hard enough to keep a machine on but I consistently did a little every single day and things improved little by little. After a couple of years I was able to bike a 63 mile bike race. I went from being bedridden and crawling around my house to being highly functional. Biking has redefined my medical condition and has changed my life and I hope that it can do the same for you with whatever challenge you are facing!
